The Boho Chic style
Boho stands for bohemian and so an interior or bathroom in Boho Chic may well be decorated in a more playful way. Southern influences and here and there a feminine touch provide that typical warm boho atmosphere.
The colors
The name of the style kind of gives it away; in a bohemian bathroom, there aren't really any rules in terms of using colors. You can even combine different colors, but don't overdo it. In a boho bathroom, a lot happens. To avoid your bathroom becoming too busy or cluttered, it's best to limit yourself to a maximum of 2 different colors.
Colors we often see are green, ochre yellow and terracotta. These warm colors can then be combined with slightly more neutral colors such as white or beige. Gray and black do not appear in a boho bathroom, except as a detail in faucet work or accessories. Although gold faucet work remains the most common choice.
Shapes and layout
Well-chosen accessories are often the finishing touch in a bathroom, but in a boho chic bathroom they really make the difference. With wicker baskets and a rattan rug, you can quickly achieve that heavenly Ibiza atmosphere in your home. Complete with colorful bowls and a nice soap pump and provide nice soft towels.

The materials
On the menu for a boho bathroom are mainly natural materials such as wicker, willow, linen and cotton, as well as light wood for furniture fronts, mosaic for floors and natural stone for sinks. All materials that guarantee a natural lightness in your bathroom.
Opt for a simple wooden furniture with a natural stone countertop basin, for example. That way you can indulge in colorful tiles a little easier. Or go for the opposite effect and choose a neutral floor and walls. That way you draw all the attention to your furniture and faucet work.
