How can you best protect your shower tray, shower walls and shower panels from scratches and limescale ? By maintaining them on a regular basis !
Shower tray
Tip 1
Always remove hair and soap residues that inevitably accumulate in the drain. This is how you prevent blockages!Tip 2
Use a sponge with soapy water (pH-neutral soap or washing-up liquid) to clean the shower tray. Wipe gently and rinse with clean water.Tip 3
Tip against lime scale: make a mixture of ½ litre water and 1 glass white vinegar, spray onto the shower tray and allow to soak in for a few minutes before rinsing. Then wipe the shower tray with a soft cloth.
Glass and acrylic walls
A quick wipedown of the walls after each shower is ideal for keeping the glass and wall coverings clean. Rinse them with clean water and remove the last drops using a squeegee. A regular, more thorough cleaning with a detergent completes the job! Just make sure you don't choose an abrasive product.
