Which ventilation system should you go for?

Did you know that indoor air pollution is often much worse than outdoor air pollution? So if you want to avoid health problems, it's very important to ventilate your home as much as possible, preferably at any time of day. Opening a window is a good thing, but these days it's not enough to evacuate all the polluted, used air from your home. So what can you do?

Types of ventilation systems

Now that our homes are better insulated and more airtight, the need for good ventilation is greater than ever. If you want a healthy indoor climate, it's best to opt for a (semi-)mechanical ventilation system. There are various options available. Choosing the best system depends on your situation.

Discover our solutions

It's important for your home to breathe at all times. Ensure a continuous supply of fresh air into your home by choosing the ventilation system that best suits the way you live.

A ventilation system meets our expectations and requirements in terms of quality, health and comfort. But that's not all: with a high-performance ventilation system, you'll also meet the standards of the current EPB regulations.

Ventilation system C

Mechanical ventilation, also known as System C ventilation, forms the basis of a healthy, optimum indoor climate by ensuring continuous air renewal. A mechanical ventilation box exhausts polluted air from the home and brings in fresh air via grilles installed in the windows or above the doors.

In the case of ventilation on demand, ventilation is triggered automatically by sensors, depending on the level of CO2 and/or humidity. This enhances living comfort.

Ventilation and System C work together to ensure clean, healthy air in our indoor spaces.

Ventilation system D

The heat recovery unit or type D ventilation system uses the temperature of the outgoing air to change that of the incoming air. This happens in the heat exchanger. No less than 95% of the energy can be reused.

At the same time, this system maintains the humidity level of the air thanks to an enthalpy exchanger. Your home stays warm in winter and cool in summer.

Air extractors

The air extractor is a highly efficient ventilation device, designed to quickly remove impure air, whether in the bathroom, utility room or toilet, ensuring effective elimination of unpleasant odours and polluted air.

The air extractor is an economical device compared with more complex ventilation systems. It is also quicker and easier to install.
